Law Enforcement Bureau

The Law Enforcement Bureau of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office provides full-time, 24/7 patrol coverage across all 1,103 square miles of the county, including dedicated service to the City of Inglis. Deputies are supported by specialized units such as the Underwater Search & Recovery Team, Marine Unit, K‑9 Unit, Honor Guard, and Tactical Response Unit, ensuring a strong response to emergencies and high-risk situations.

The bureau also includes subunits that focus on investigations and community support, including the Criminal Investigations Division, Civil Division, Agricultural Crimes Unit, Community Relations Division, Citizens on Patrol, Evidence & Found Property management, and Victim Advocacy. Together, these teams work to protect lives, uphold the law, and build trust throughout Levy County.
