On August 12th, 2026 Deputies with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Bronson, Florida for a call for service involving allegations of a sexual battery. Deputies immediately conducted an initial investigation and upon learning of the allegations requested assistance from LCSO Criminal Investigation Division.
Detective Ryan Sullivan responded to the residence along with other Detectives, Crime Scene Forensics and Victim Advocates where witnesses, parents, and victims were interviewed. Detective Sullivan learned that the suspect identified as Ulises Castillo was suspected of sexually battering a juvenile. Detective Sullivan gained probable cause to arrest Castillo on 2 counts of Sexual Battery.
Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation and Marcy’s Law which protects the identities of the victims and witnesses no further details will be released.
Castillo was transported to the Levy County Detention Bureau where he is being held without Bond.
