of heroin by the courts in Lee County less than one month ago. Lang, who has a
long history of arrests, didn’t last long on probation. He absconded from
supervision almost immediately. However, living life on the run was short lived
County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit this morning that Lang was hiding at a
home located at 11490 SE 37 Lane in Morriston.
Investigators and the LCSO Patrol Division responded to the home and
were able to locate and arrest Lang within two hours of the tip being received.
Lang was transported
and will be held at the Levy County Detention Facility pending transfer back to
Lee County for his violation of probation charge.
Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force (DTF) and members of the Sheriff’s Office K-9
Unit worked traffic interdiction in the Rosewood and Cedar Key area on Thursday,
September 28th during the afternoon and evening hours. Citizens in
these small communities have recently filed complaints after observing
increased drug use and sales.
Garboski, his partner K-9 Molly, and members of the DTF conducted a traffic
stop on SR 24 in the Rosewood area on a passenger car that had illegal window
tint. The following road side investigation discovered the passenger of the
vehicle, Aaron Ryan Eugene Roscoe (03/23/1993), who lists a Dunnellon address,
was in possession of methamphetamine. Roscoe also had a loaded 40 Caliber
handgun concealed in his waist band at the time of the stop.
these law violations, investigators discovered Roscoe was wanted in Citrus
County for violation of probation, the original charge in 2017 was for carrying
a concealed firearm. Roscoe was arrested by DTF investigators for the following
Firearm during Felony: bond $200,000.00
Firearm by a Convicted Felon: bond $200,000.00
Paraphernalia: bond $25,000.00
awaiting trial. Once the charges filed in Levy County have been processed by
our courts, he will then be transferred to Citrus County to answer for his
